Screen printing

Screen printing is a printing technique where a mesh is used to transfer ink (or dye) onto fabrics such as T-shirts or bags. Also, It is used to reproduce serial pieces of art. This technique is quite distinctive for its sharp lines and the possibility of reproducing a certain relief if desired. After exploring this technique, our designs have been highly influenced by it and it has become one of the peculiarities of Kiwe’s visual language.

Serial work

We consider that serial works are democratic artistic pieces. A piece of art is part of a series but at the same time each reproduction is unique as the whole process is handcrafted. Moreover, each piece is numbered so it becomes sort of exclusive. At Kiwe workshop we produce our own designs but also designs commissioned by others offering professional counselling.

Fabrics

Screen printing is generally applied onto fabrics for marketing purposes. However, we can design and print onto any kind of fabric for any purpose. We take control of the whole process ensuring a good finished product.
